In theory, all woven Axminster carpet finishing will be purely cut pile. But in Crescent, we like to brings the standard one step higher.
When you have some design that will need more texture such as Loop Pile or Tip Shearing, generally the choice for carpet construction will be a machine tufted carpet.
But limited by the design, some pattern cannot be achieved thru a machine tufted carpet. Thus, born the idea of a woven Axminster with Loop Pile, or we called it Axminster with over Loop and you have an Axminster with unlimited design possibility and with the loop pile as an added feature.
We recommend this feature base on patterns and areas covered up to limitation within 15% in order to maintain an affordable carpet to our client. The manufacturing process will take slightly longer to produce than an Axminster, but goods things are worth waiting!
